Hi, after much searching I have managed to get a second hand Soft top for my Sportrak 
, but I have no fitting instructions!
Also I need to order the studs from a dealer. Would anyone have any fitting details they could let me have, or an idea of how many studs i would need to order? HELP !!!

I think the instructions are in the Sportrak manual, and also in the service manual. I will have a look on my service manual CD to see if its on there, and if it is I will email you the page with it on.

there are different kinds. If it has a frame it may be the kind monsoon do. you can get fitting instructions on their website. If it doesnt have a frame it may be by mastercovers. theirs have a white rod down the front side on the inside. see my other post re soft tops or email me for tips if its the latter . oh, linda, get your top off! ;o) its well worth it!
soft top contd!
Hi, well the Soft top consists of a black frame with grey canvas cover + windows. Have managed to partially fit it but it is a different style to one shown in my Daihatsu manual. I have ordered the fitting studs from Daihatsu which fit the Soft top ( i have tried them), but the self tapping thread on them does not fit the pre drilled holes on the car !!!! HELP!!! Does any one have any ideas!!!

There are 15 studs for my soft top, but I would avoid using the one behind the spare wheel unless absolutely necessary, it can be a real pain to get off back there
