I couldn't believe it. Her I was enjoying life when I got a quote for a new radiator for my little big van. My hubby enjoys his land rover disco. I need to get back to my hijet I have withdrawal symptoms. £300 plus fitting.

Suggestions please? It seems such a shame that I may have to scrap my girl when this is all that is wrong with her. I have had water pump and headgasket work done 4 yrs ago and my son }:) gets her for 1 yr and whoosh. There must be someone with a used one that isn't too bad. A bit green here, 
but how hard is it to fit ourselves. Lesson for No1 son.

Recondition the rad, costs about £70-£100 at most. Look in your local yellowpages or google search.
Have a look at these, they are a network of reconditioners and suppliers of new rads. I used one of the suppliers a while back, who was only half a mile from me, did a great job almost like new.

I had mine re-conditioned at a cost of £80, and I thought that was expensive !! Have a look in your Yellow Pages for radiator re-conditioners.

Well thanks a lot she is going really well, fingers crossed probably jinxed it now..
