sporty pedal sitting to high , how do i adjust it?

as above really , it had a new clutch last year before i got it but the pedal sits way to high .

i can see where the cable comes thru under the bonnet but cant see any adjuster on the cable .

any ideas please

Where the cable comes into the engin bay there should be a group of grooves around the cabel outer. One of these will have a circlip in it. Adjustment is just a matter of putting the circlip in the appropriat slot. Unless of course you have an after market job like mine, with a windy thing where the cable meets the arm into the bellhousing. Altogether harder job to adjust... Sad
