The turbo has a timing
The turbo has a timing chain, when I asked this question at the local Daihatsu servicing garage I was told it doesn't get changed as it's a chain and should last the lifetime of the car, unlike a belt made from rubber etc.. which will age and stretch.
Although saying that I was also told that the Autobox fluid is also a lifetime product as well.
