i have a 993 cc EFI Hijet, 1997.
After doing a few jobs, I tried to start the engine, but nothing.
it turns but there is no spark.
There is 12v at both red wires of the Balast Resistor.
There is a very small voltage at the distributor coil feeds.
There is a resistance reading through both coil leads to the king lesd connector.
I am no electrician, but have not been stuck before.
Has the engine management ECU got anything to do with ignition?
I have turned on the ignition, then unplugged the Balance Resistor, but no spark.
Any electrical educated person have any ideas as to what to try, measure etc.
There is no centre-light showing on the dash light panel.
