I've just had the cylinder head skimmed and rebuilt the engine, which is made by Lombardini, but it's refusing to start. The cam belt is set correctly as are the valve clearances. I need to set the static injector timing (for each injector) to 11 degrees BTDC and these can be adjusted similar to setting tappets as they are cam lobe operated. Has anyone done this job or know who could help as I gather that special equipment is needed to check their operation. The nearest Daihatsu agent is not much help. I'm based in Stockport.
