Just athought instead of rebuilding yourself have you considered part exchanging your caliper(s) for as new reconditioned unit?I used Birmingham Motor Parts(details in parts dealers link at the top of this page)and although only one caliper had seized(after 15 years!)I changed both front calipers one at a time over a couple of weeks. Delivery was quick and after returning the old calipers I received my deposit back in a couple of days. No problems fitting and two years later still functioning perfectly.
