hi im new to 4x4 and wondering as i go from lane to lane via roads should i get out and unlock the front hubs or is it ok to just take out of 4 wheel drive and also any budget tyres out the that are ok for off road

Hubs, Hubs Hubs, Hubs
Hi.
No need to unlock manual hubs, just change to 2Hi (disingage dash switch if locked in while using 4Hi).
With auto hubs, reverse for 3 or 4 yards to disingage them.
Suggest you read the article in the "How it Works" section at the top of the page , lots of info there.
Lots of info available via the "Search" box, just enter the term "Manual Hubs".
