but it sounds like your engine is goosed.
on another note if you don't trust you garage don't go there anymore.
i've been a temp chef for years traveling all around using lots of different places and one thing i've learnt is don't keep going to a garage you don't trust.
if it was me i'd cut my losses change the garage and the lump.

I think your right! its game over for the sportrak, its a shame realy, i have run out of money! Apparantly the piston ring is worn. I would have loved to have known that before i threw money at it. Owell, such is life!
