Just got a nice old G reg. 4trak. . . I'm wondering if the wheels off of any other 4x4 would fit. . eg Land Rover, Shogun, Mitsubishi etc. . .

Suzuki, Lada Niva, old Jeep (Not Cherakei). Land Rover & Austin Gypsy are a larger patern, and most other Jap 4x4's use a 6 stud fitment.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

Nev is spot on...the PCD pattern of the studs is 5 stud 90mm..same as suzuki , Lada Niva , Jeep CJ (NOT recent jeeps like wrangler or cherokee as Nev says) CJ 5 OR CJ 7 will fit.

i have an 86 normaly aspirated rocky. i changed the standard wheels for a set of 16 inch wheels from a suzuki grand vitara usind 235 85 16 colways does the job , so yes suzuki wheels will fit providing the offset is right some of the older vitaras have a different offset as far as i know
