Has anybody done or know of a way to canvert a F 50 from drum to disk, any pic's etc would be great ???

I agree, but many new people are not aware of ,or how to use the "Search " box, or even what terms to use. Have patience with new people and just point them in the right direction if it's regular query. I tell them about the "Search" box and give them an example link to the inquiry.

Well put EWS. We were all newbies once...

For the front the eisiest (if you can find them) is to just replace the front axle with one from a very late modle (A or B reg in the UK). These had disks (or some did). If you can only find an F20 all is not lost as you can change the lower geared diff for you original one and still do a whole axle casing swap.

Some people have taken calippers from larg cars, such as Ford Granada or Vauxhall Senitor for both front and rear conversions. You have to fabricate mounting points to the axle to do this. That is the hard bit. The disks are not too much of a problem. You use Suzuki ones. SJ (not sure if Vitara are the same) disks fit over the wheel studs (like many cars), and the Suzuki 4x4 stud patern is the same as an F50.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

hey guys thank you for your help, i will look more into it and probably ask for more help later, which zuki would those that have doen it suggest? 410 or 413?
