Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement central locking remote fob for my avanzato?
Ive been to see my local dealer and he didnt seem very positive on whether he could source one for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few Daihatsu Cuores are
A few Daihatsu Cuores are being broken on E-bay at the moment they may have a key fob as well for sale that may fit the Avanzato model. As an example:
Item number: 270568029041
Of course you will then need to get it programmed up to your cars ECU.

avanzato fob
ok, ill have a look at those.
if they use the same fob, couldn't I just pop my circuit board etc out of mine into the replacement one and it would be ok?

Depends on what you mean
Depends on what you mean circuit board? If you mean the main ECU circuit board then I wouldn't of thought so as the cars brain will think you were driving a U.K Daihatsu Cuore and not a Turbo charged Avantazo.
Normally the Fob would be used to unlock the doors via the central locking mechanism, and in some cases used to switch on and off an alarm system, and possibly disable an imobiliser system. If you are talking about the board that governs the central locking system then I am not sure if that would work or not. I know if buying a new fob from a dealer requires that fob to be married up to the car via a re-program. Maybe a bit of research is required.

what I mean is
What I mean is the actual circuit board from within my remote fob.
What I am trying to get at is whether it is possible to get a remote fob case and then take the circuit board from my knackered case and put it into the new case, therefore it would be using the same battery, circuit board etc it would just have a new case. I'll just wait for daihatsu to get back to me and go from there.
