I've just fitted some new leaf springs to my Sportrak.
I got them from Milners off road, good value.
It seems VERY CHOPPY/HARD now though! just how tight should the shackle bolts be? surely there should be some movement in the bushes?

The problem is with the orang
The problem is with the orange bushes that came with the kit, they just keep compressing until they balloon out and lock the whole shackle up!
I've slackened the shackle nuts off and the ride is fine........but the nuts are loose!
As soon as you tighten the nuts up to the stated torque it all locks up!
I'm tempted to put the old rubber bushes and shackles back on......what do you think?

there's two types of washers, one sprung and one sprung/serrated, which one goes where?........inside or outside of the shackle plate?
