Terios - spare wheel bicycle rack

Forum:

Bought a spare wheel bicycle rack for my 2009 Terios and it didn't fit. It is the type that drops over the spare wheel.
I removed the spare wheel and then removed the top two bolts from the the wheel mounting bracket. I then bought some extra long bolts and using a piece of hard plastic tubing cut two spacers wide enough to enable the wheel to be pulled back enough to allow the rack to slide between the wheel and the rear door. Then tightened the new bolts and that's it. Obviously remove the wheel cover if you have one first otherwise it is likely the whole thing will slip off! Finished this off with locking wheel nuts on the spare to avoid temptation when cover is removed.
