Hi on my return journey with my newely purchased van this light came on but van runs as normal an (expert!!) says it is the Lambda sensor could this be true or is there anything else which can light the lamp and not stop the engine running?
Where can I get a service manual?

Before you go spending money on replacement sensor, have a look at the oil filler cap on the rocker box.
I chased this problem for 18 months and I tracked it down to the seal around the oil cap.
The pressure in the rocker cover is feed back to the fuel/emission mixture manifold and that is where the apparant fault comes from.
Try putting an elastic band around the stem of the oil filler cap this could cure your problem
