need to replace rear drums on a 1994 L reg fourtrak f73/f78 rocky 2.8tdx, on inside of drum it says max dia 272mm, can only get quotes for 254mm anyone help,these drums must be to small to fit my rocky, does anyone know where i can get the right drums, one place quoted me
on ebay
and lookout for a company on there called atkinsonautomotives..... think there about 75 quid each....

Inside or out?
But is that the inside or outside diameter? Drums are about 10mm thick.
I would telephone and ask to which measurement it refers.

hi, just rang daihatsu main imports( headoffice) found out that 272mm drums are the ones fitted to my fourtrak and that the 256mm ones that i keep getting quoted for are not the ones fitted to the fourtrak, all the batch numbers are wrong that the dealers have, so after market brake suppliers have the wrong info as well, daihatsu are sending me the correct part numbers in the morning so things are looking up. will put part numbers up for people to see. thanks for the help.

yes they do stock them but not a listing on there parts list for my size quote only for 256 mm not 272mm even the dealer records show that my fourtrak should have 256 mm but for some reason mine are bigger, must be a miss match or some thing from new, next step would be to buy new axle with right sized brakes (more money)
