spring over axle f80

anyone got any info regarding the above where to buy one/diagrams to d.i.y could do with it being really cheap.is it poss to do with standard parts with out to much welding?would I be better off fitting range rover axles etc?

You can use normal bits. The only welding is:
1) to move the top shock absorber mounting up, as the plate which starts off onder the leaves ends up on top of them.#
2) to put a flat bit on the top of the axle case, to sandwich the spring too as already exists on the bottom of the cassing.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
