ok, just got back from a few hours laning and was humiliated by getting stuck and being towed out by my mates 110 landy, it was very deep and i didnt really stand a chance, what did pee me off however was the two suzukis that got the hump waiting and the fact that they drove straight throgh! my question is this.. what is the largest[highest] wheel/tyre combo for the sporty? not worried about body work cuts i just need more height so axles/diffs/front wishbones are that bit higher, i allready have new heavy duty rear springs and longer[bloodred] shackles, also removed front anti roll bar so cant do much more there!

Never mind the biggest you can get away with is 31/1050/15 I'm afraid useless you want to start mucking about with ratios in diffs etc just fitted 31s to mine (fedma extremes on weller rims) and can't believe how heavy they are it you can really tell!! unless it's a full time off roader I wouldent go any bigger than that

yeah its funny how you mentioned the weight as i notice if i have lots of mud on my tyres it gets sluggish- and today i did a 50 mile journey with about 6 inches of snow all over the car and it was slower than usual, its a shame they never dieseled the sporty!
