Hi, I would like to change the cam belt and water pump on my hijet pick up 1300 efi, year of build 2001. I would like to ask if anyone could advise me on the removal and fitting of these parts.
My game plan to date is (1) drain coolant (2) disconect battery (3) remove alternator belt (3) once removed the cam cover rotate cam belt 1 revolution and mark timing marks with tipex on block etc. (4)Slacken tensioner and remove belt. (5)remove water pump and gasket clean surface and replace gasket and pump. replace cam belt tentioner (7) replace cam belt, aligning timing marks with tipex marks. (8) tention belt. (9) rotate by hand two revolutions and check timing marks still align with tipex marks. (9) check tention along longest run and refit cam cover.

Can anyone tell me if i've left out anything please.
