standard fourtrak steels

Forum:

ive looked through previous threads about tyre size without mods and noticed that on a standard fourtrak long wheel base the 31x10.5x15 tyre seems to be recommended as the biggest with out extra mods, but will this size tyre be ok on the standard steel wheels or is it only ok with the deeper alloys?

On the alloys, or the wheller

On the alloys, or the wheller (8 spocked silver) steel wheels. Not the standard width steels. One you will have vertually no stearing lock. Two the tyre will be unstable on the rim, cousing stability problems with the car and the risk of tearing the tyre from the rim when cornering.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
