Crankshaft pulley seal

Crankshaft pulley seal leaking, easy to replace with the correct seal.

Gain access to the front of the engine, unbolt and remove the pulley, prise out the old seal, replace with a new seal.

Forget putting in such rubbish, it can do more harm than good sometimes.

just ad to what assassin has

just ad to what assassin has put you need to take off the cambelt so is a good time to replace that as it will be covered in oil.

Sportrak Camshaft Front Seal Replacement???

Hi Guys,

I need to replace the the camshaft front seal on my Sportrak!!!

How do I go about it?

I have stripped it down to the the rockers and taken the timing belt & pulley off, but cant see a way of getting the seal out! Do I need to remove all the rockers and the camshaft?

New seals coming tomorrow so kind of argent!!

Dave

It's ok I pulled it out!!!

Just to say it's all ok, as I just prised it out with a screwdriver...

Hopefully the new one turns up tomorrow so I can start rebuilding it...
