windscreen replacement 1987 D reg fourtrack petrol

Have a restoration going on a 1987 D reg fourtrack..anyone know where I can obtain a windscreen or the whole front panel complete.. would a later model screen still fit..I do not know what the spec is on later models as far as shape and size go so would appreciate some help here..willing to travel to collect or pay courier...thanks for looking Jim

I also enquired about a replacement windscreen - think it was around £100, and in stock.

I'm pleased with the chip repair, and with replacing the windscreen rubber on my Skoda Felicia, and would not hesitate to recommened them.

hi svoburner and thankyou for your suggestions..I have filled out the questionair they place and now awaiting the reply within 24 hrs..thanks for your assistance...I too am going to convert the fourtrack to hydogene..I have been planning it for years now, should have done it sooner what with the extortionate price of the fossel stuff..watch this space ha ha ...cheers many thanks Jim

Ah OK noted on the forename.
Couldn't remember the TV chappie's name.

HF radio still rather varied, hopefully things will settle down for late this year or early next. Be good for the higher bands to be open around the world again. Just waiting on 6m Sporadic E to start, too!

Hi Graham, No Not the gent with a rat under his nose???But, and a big but He may be related somewhere along the line...funnily enough his son has the same name?? I have emailed Dick ages ago now and had no reply as yet....I am still an M3, 10 watts are fine when the sun spots are active,dx everywhere even vh uhf.Still looking for that windscreen so as I can finish the old girl and on the road..any idea what the rules are for a folding windscreen without the screen??? for MOT. I wondered if another vehicle windscreen would fit, but I have not the know how to make enquiries..or match it up in some way..there has to be one out there somewhere,,Patience is a vertue they say..Ok Graham talk to you soon 73 Jim
