I am being told that my black terios will fail on emissions when it goes through its MOT.
The engine managment light was on but they couldnt find out what was wrong when I took it to be looked at 8 months ago. It drives fine but it now uses ALOT of oil... no visible leaks and it doesnt seem to smoke when driving but the end of the exhaust is very black.

The man in the garage is talking about head skimming, pistons or a new engine - which I dont think would be worth it??? Does anyone have any suggestions please.
