hi i have got f50 diesel 1983 it has never played up before.the other day it started and after 10 to 15 seconds it cuts ouy timt and time again.the actuator moves to close fuel off.is the fuel relay box at fault?thanks

If everything powered when
If everything powered when the ignition is switched on goes off then its the relay, but this is unlikely.
The fuel shut off solonoid is the culprit, so check the wiring first before condemning it, then the solonoid.

thanks i will check solonoid to the best of my ability alltho i dont no what i am looking for.i can check wireing.earth issue?
On the wiring connectors,
On the wiring connectors, where the cables enter the connector, they corrode and eventually snap. Check for corroded or broken wires, being black instead of copper coloured is a good indicator.
Check the fuel shut off solonoid itself, if you cannot do this then get a local independent diesel injection specialist to do it.
