Nuts

Forum:

Hi all.I have a 1999 SWB Fourtrak fitted with the original steel wheels. I bought a set of Daihatsu alloys for it but didnt get the wheel nuts. When i tried to fit them the nuts from the steel wheels wont do as they are not long enough to get a socket on them .Anybody out there know where i can get a set for the alloys. The wheels are stamped with JIL and 15X7JJ and have 12 teardrop shaped holes around the centre with 265/70/15 tyres.

I think dave at bloodred

I think dave at bloodred still sells them, I know which ones you want, I have a few but not a whole set of 20, but saying that I run 2 sets of different alloys and use the standard nuts with a standard 21 mm 1/2 inch socket....gets in there fine, up to you

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Just get some off ebay or

Just get some off ebay or anywhere really, nothing unusual or fancy about them. Just make sure you get the correct thread.

The taper angle of alloy nuts is 60 degree.

I'm not sure about fourtrak, but Daihatsu cars use a 12x1.5mm thread
