Suzuki rims may fit but they are nowhere strong enough and if your insurers find out you have them fitted they will nullify your insurance, particularly if you are involved in an accident.
The best option is to look for aftermarket steel rims which are cheap and plentiful. Alternatively you can fit 31" tyres to your 15" rims for additional underbody clearance.

so what are old grand vitara steel wheels plated at? cos there still a fairly sturdy wagon, the reason you use 16" rims is because of the tyre choice available, you dont get the clearance on a 31-10.50/15 tyre like you can on a 235/85-16 tyre. This has been on the forum lots now and everyone puts the same ' health n safety ' bullshit answer with NO facts!! so what are they??

Why don't you just go for
Why don't you just go for tyres with a larger profile? For example if you are running, say, 225/65, why don't you change to 225/16's- this will give you almost the same as 16" wheels with same profile tyres.....
