Yaris T sport rear disks

Forum:

Just wondering if anyone has thought about Yaris Tsport rear disks for a YRV.
I know the rear disks on the Tsport are more of a Drum conversion and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on it or have converted to rear disks.

Caliper mounts are the only real issue I can see but any other info would be appreciated as I really want rear disks on the YRV 130.

Cheers

You'll be the first to try I'm afraid. Sad

I have always thought these cars needed rear brake discs. Besides both the Suzuki Ignis Sport and Toyota Starlet Glanza Turbo has them.

It's really not worth the hassle. The master cylinder and brake compensator valve maybe not able to control a rear caliper properly,
causing poor braking, Or perhaps dangerous over sensitive rear braking.

The rear brakes are more than adequate.
