7 seater fourtrack seatbelts

i have a 7 seater fourtrack the fold down seats in the boot doesnt have seatbealts didnt they come standard? where could i get them? its a 91 2.8 tdx

hi av got a xreg 7seater and it didnt come with the belts for the 2 seats in the boot thair just for acasional use

rear seat belts

Hi it is supposed to be dangerous to wear a seat belt in side facing seats as more damage to the person can be done by wearing them

I got stopped by the police the other week, as I was waiting at trafic lights. The police man wanted to know if my daughter in the rear seat had a seat belt. The seat belt didn't come as standard but my husband fitted one previously, and the police man was ok. Gravity predicts that in a head on collision all back passengers without seatbelts will fly frontwards and possibly kill. I can't beleive that seat belts arn't included.

Earlier Traks came with lap belts fitted to the rear seats...full shoulder belts were only fitted to the front. There were no anchor points for full belts in the back. The two small side facing seats in the 'boot'had no restraing belts at all. I for one would never use them for children...I have very occasionally had a couple of adults sittin on em for a short distance..they are pretty uncomfortable anyhow.
You can buy a 'harness' called the 'Lap Adapter'which converts the rear lap belts into full harnessess...which I fitted for the sake of my kid's safety.
