Rocky vibration

Forum:

My F78 Rocky vibrates as the speed gets over 45 and becomes teeth rattling over 50. Recently replaced front and rear anti-roll bar bushes and last week dropped the rear prop shaft and ran it on the forward prop but still the problem persists. The wheel bearings all seem ok but I wondered if there is a bearing in the diff? Any ideas out there before my teeth fall out!

Andy.

what ya mean by dropped rear

what ya mean by dropped rear prop? put rear on front and ran it in 4wd with no rear prop?

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Dropped rear prop

I put Rocky in 4 wheel drive and took off the rear prop shaft to see if that prop shaft was causing the vibration. It wasn't as the vibration persisted. Reconnected it all and still loosening my fillings......

have you checked your wheel

have you checked your wheel bearings?

I would check the wheels are

I would check the wheels are balanced first, common problem is to get the balance weights knocked off, or if they are the stick on type they can fly off at speed.
