Fitting an indicator buzzer on a fourtrak

Forum:

I have a 1997 riviera fourtrak which i am using to do a trailer test next month along with an ifor williams horse trailer. I need to fit a buzzer to my fourtrak that is activated when the trailer indicators are operating.
I am new to DIY manchanics and have never done anything with electrics before but would like to try to do it myself, does anyone know if this is a big or complicated job and if i would be better off having it fitted at a garage? If not, any advise on how to go about fitting it would be greatly appriciated!

trailer buzzer

The buzzer is available as a seperate part, from Towsure for example, or a motor factors, but should form part of the kit for fitting towbar electrics.

Usually has 5 connections green and yellow to the trailer socket, sometimes orange and grey for connections from the winkers and an earth connection.

If you have existing trailer socket wiring you should be able to cut into the existing wiring, the green and yellow are the indicator feeds.

Best of luck with the test.
