hijet manual
in the search box type in hijet and your question will be answered.Basically go to your Daihatsu dealer and hand over app. £150 no other manuals exist and until someone copies it onto cd or otherwise then I am afraid you are on your own.As for the diesel you will probably find no one wants to know(Daihatsu or Lombardini)Sorry to be so negative but I have been there.

Hi-Jet Diesel Manual
Did you ever manage to get a workshop manual for your Daihatsu HiJet Diesel. This particular engine is manufactured by Lombardini and I have a hard copy of the workshop manual from them, which is a must if you wish to work on this type of engine.
