Dave..cant help you M8,but would be very interested to know if you get sorted,cos its something i,ve been thinking of doing,as well as taking the roof off my 95 independent,and making it into a ragtop..they all left the factory in Osaka destined to be a soft top,so no body strengthening is needed..watch this space..and good luck !
