This would also make them more expensive than the original part from a Daihatsu dealership. I should know as I have been frequently stung on customs charges in the past whilst buying bits and bobs from Asia.

I have a facebook Daihatsu friend in Malaysia who sends any Daihatsu parts (aftermarket or genuine), So far has always been undervalued and marked as gift. So never had customs.
The prices of genuine parts there are much lower than UK.
It is also a Toyota part number,35303-97201 same number as Daihatsu I belive, So you may find a Toyota dealer charges less.

Toyota parts prices vary
RRG Toyota quoted me something like £98+vat for the Autobox filter. . .almost twice that of Daihatsu which some dealerships seem to vary by a few quid too.
I have posted before that any part that fits both Daihatsu and Toyota has the same part number.... just less the dash and three zeros at the end if its Toyota.
For parts almost everywhere in the rest of the World is cheaper than here in the UK and apart from stuff going missing or import charges etc, actualy a safe method of payment is difficult too. Just bare in mind when you find cheap. I have scoured and sourced stuff from many places and had a few mishaps from going missing, import duty and another often forgotten....Damage on arrival on one occasion which DHL would not pay out because i was not the sender or DHL account holder!
