I'm thinking of fitting slightly bigger tyres to my 'new' 2006 Charade Auto (9000miles!)

I fitted both of my Perodua Kelisas with 165/65 SR13 tyres so that I could use Michelin E3's

They look quite good, and the handling does seem improved too. They are less than 3% bigger, so the speedo is now quite accurate, instead of under reading by 2 or 3 mpg as most cars do.

I think they will also make a good improvement to the Charade.

BTW I was immediately impressed by the Charade. It's a step up from the Cuore - just that more comfortable and a bit more sophisticated. On the run home from Newcastle to Cambridge, on a very hot day, I got over 40mpg despite driving very ahem.. progressively, and using the aircon the whole way! (The tyres were also a bit soft which wouldn't have helped)
