Forum:
recently bought an old F50 for $100 over here in Australia, the body is very rusty but the chassis is brilliant and before tare down the engine ran quite well, however the only way of controlling rpm was through manually controlling the start/stop/run acutator. For whatever reason controlling the butturfly valve in the intake didn't appear to do much to the rpm as it should so any help would be greatly appreciated as to what the problem could be. An engine manual for this old 2.5L DG engine would also be hugely helpful as the car is currently in a thousand pieces being restored and in the event of any other engine troubles arising after re assembly an engine manual would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Glen.
