Suspension lift on Diahatsu Feroza with IFS front end.

Forum:

Hi, I am the proud owner of a 1994 Diahatsu Feroza that has independent front suspension. I know that it is possible to gain a 2 inch lift (approx) by winding up the torsion bars but I would like to know how to get a bit more out of it. If anyone knows how I would like to hear. Cheers, Andy.

Best bet mate is a body lift.

Best bet mate is a body lift. Unbolt thr body from the chassis. Put legs of your desired length in between. Bolt back together. This will alow you to put bigger tyres under it, without raising your centre of gravity by much.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

Body lift?

You make it sound so simple
the brake pipes will not reach the electric cables will snap and the gear levers will disapear through the floor
