Hello,

I am desperate for some quality advice.
I have a diahatsu terios (2002) and on friday past I was driving along the motorway and the power started to decrease and when I came to a junction,the car started chugging and came close to cutting out.
I took it to a mechanic and he said that the car may be down to 3 cylinders or there could be something wrong with the coils?
Am planning to trade the car in for a newer car in 3 weeks and have been able to drive 250 - 300 miles with it just chugging (and revs going down below 1 on meter) but need it to get me through 2 - 3 weeks of driving (500 miles - 800 miles max).
Does anyone have any experience of this or can advise as all I want to do is to get to the point where I can afford a trade in where clearly the garage taking it on will factor this in on trade in cost????
I will be deeply obliged if anyone can help...
