Hi,
I bought an R-reg Fourtrak a couple of weeks ago and almost everything seems to be working on it which is good news. However, today I've got home and found a large puddle of diesel underneath it and can see it dripping down from next to the right, rear shock. The tank doesn't appear to be damaged from the bottom...
I'm going to have a proper look at it tomorrow because it's dark now, but does anyone know what it's likely to be???

If you drain the tank you can repair it with Plastic Padding Leak Fix which is available from Cromwell tools and other retailers, clean the tank, abrade harshly, mix a little and spread like body filler and cover well, repeat with a second coat and extend the second coat beyond the first coat, then apply a third coat. You can sand it and just paint over.
