Hi People, its great reading and feeling this unity between Daihatsu drivers. At present im not yet one. I am writing here because im very interested in buying a Terios.

I wanted to ask some questions.

1) Is the interior really that small + crammed. How many passengers does it take comfortably.

2) Is it good in floods? Let us say, 60cms or 1/2 a meter of water?

3) Was going2ask about offroad performance but already saw some posts. However, since the vehicle is rather high and narrow, any idea of what its tilt angle is. Im used to a landrover but its running costs r quite high, however, a landrover has a 45dedgree tilt.

4) On the road, say riding at 80kms/h, how does it take bends? Does it have good grip on medium quality tarmaced wet roads?

5) Any particular problems advantages / disadvantages with its being such a compact SUV.

6) Fuel consumption on website is 36.7mpg combined, however i know dat it is less. Any ideas?

7) Was reading on a website that a uk company, Foresight Vehicle something is manufacturing 'generators' that can be installed in the car (making it a hybrid) and can get about 35kms/l. Do you think that if the technology becomes available, could it be installed on the classic terios?

Is the terios going to get a sequel this year?

9) The Daihatsu Terios and the Toyota Cami are practically the same vehicle. Are there any differences apart from the name and the badge?

Why is it that web sites like what car? and another renowned site have given the terios a 1/5 or 2/5 overall rating (approx)

Sorry for getting you a headache. However, any answer to these is greatly appriciated as im wieghing all options to buy this car. I have 3 siblings and my girlfriend has 4 but most of the time its just me and her in the car.
