Advice on chassis rail rot, please.

Hi Guys,

I've discovered some rot in the passenger side chassis rail of my 98 TDX Fourtrak, in front and behind the coil spring mount/ cup. I've got some pics but not sure how to get them up on here, happy to email them over.

Please tell me it's gonna be ok... Would really like to know the next step.

Fix it.

The step after that is : Rust proof it (many people, especially pro's, skip this step)

The step after that is: Fix it again

The final step is: Scrap it

Chassis Rail

A good fabricator,welder would repair this or get a garage that has experience in chassis welding

I own a Fourtrak TDX and 2 Sirion 1.3 Auto's Mk 2 and love them as there so reliable and my Fourtrak is M Reg and 20 Years old and still goes great, Soon be a Classic.
