Hello, I recently bought a Fourtrak Fieldman and it is my first 4WD car. it is a 1996 Model and appears to be driving well in 2 wheel drive mode (i think). The gear stick changer for the 4WD system has from top to bottom 2H 4H N 4L and the diagram suggests that you pull the lever down half way, move it to the right and then down again. First of all there does not appear to be any movement to the right and it goes almost down in a straight line. When i go from 2H down to 4L the light comes on to tell me i am in 4 wheel drive, apart from that there does not appear to be anything happening for me to be able to get 4H and N, although why i would want neutral for this i dont know.
So how can i get it into 4 H, i pull the lever down half way and no dashboard light come on and feel no difference from when the lever is in the 2H position. There does not appear to be any button on the dash for 4WD.
please help!
