Terios, top end oil leak

Please excuse if this has been asked before but I plead new member syndrome.

Just bought a Terios + on a 00 plate (Ireland). It has an oil leak at the back of the engine dripping onto the bell housing. My guess is that its coming from the crank sensor seal.

Can you get an "0" ring without breaking the bank on a whole new sensor? anyone know where? anyone disagree with my thoughts on the cause?

i believe you are right! since sensor seal is the weakest link and can be the reason. you can try overcoming it with the "0" ring.

Thanks for the response.. going to change the rocker gasket as well. Just in case.

For the benefit of anyone reading this,, The O ring can not be sourced separately from the sensor which Daihatsu Ireland have one left €79. told them not interested I will just have to find an O ring that fits from elsewhere.
