Goodbye old friend

Forum:

Said goodbye to an old friend today... our second car, the cracking little run-about-town Daihatsu Sirion 1.0SE (a Toyota Passo in Japan)... The car was build at the Osaka factory in Japan in 2006. Loved driving this little car but cost-of-ownership for two cars ruled my head (overruling my heart) with one or the other car spending six months of the year inside the lock-up garage, time finally came to let it go... hope the next owner enjoys owning and driving it as much as I did. Now down to just one car, the Toyota Auris SR built in UK. Wonder how long it will be before I can have another Japanese car that was actually built in Japan... wishing Daihatsu would start exporting again and bring over their new Tanto... voted car-of-the-year in Japan last year, knocking the Prius off the top spot. I shall miss this little vehicle over the coming months and possibly years. Thank you Daihatsu for the enjoyment over the past 4-1/2 years.

Dihatsu

Should of kept the Daihatsu much better than a British built Toyoto and Daihatsu is so Reliable

I own a Fourtrak TDX and 2 Sirion 1.3 Auto's Mk 2 and love them as there so reliable and my Fourtrak is M Reg and 20 Years old and still goes great, Soon be a Classic.
