Does anybody know where I can get a replacement sump plug / Oil drain screw from as once I get the old one off it is going to need replacing as a previous owner has completely smoothed off the edges so it is proving nigh on impossible to get undone... I have tried usual suppliers but none seem to be available of course there must be an alternative one from an existing vehicle that would fit.....

Hi, Depends on which Daihatsu it is, many Toyota sump plugs will fit Daihatsu.

Further to my earlier post I have been doing some more on line searching and it appears Milner spares may be able to help.... funny thing was I did an initial search with them and came up with nothing a different search has come up with the goodies.... I think...fingers crossed as to be honest I am getting fed up with buying bits for my Sporty that are supposed to fit and don't...gggrrrr.... got to find a positive battery clamp now it appears nobody does the small daihatsu one xo may have to end up getting a new battery just so that I can use a standard size clamp!
