I've had hassles with the switch for years now and could not find one at a reasonable price. The cars being taken over by my daughter so it hassle to now be reliable so I hunted on here for advice, after a bit of looking around I found that the switch is the same pins as a Sirion and so I looked on Ebay and found this for £23.50 with free carriage "Front Right Window Switch For Daihatsu Sirion Terios Serion 1998-2001 11 Pins". It looked the same except the connector block was at a slight angle so took the chance and ordered it. A couple of days later it turned up and I can report it fits and works a treat, it is grey rather than faded black and I could change the top cover from the old one but we are going to leave as is.
Thanks for the advice posted here, and also for the posting that said there is another fusebox under the steering wheel, the radio has not worked for a year!
