Fourtrak Indy F78 1999 - Diesel in Coolant.

Forum:

I'm getting diesel in the coolant and the engine idles roughly and shudders when it's switched off.

Rough idle might suggest fuel pressure being lost on a cylinder. Head gasket? But I can't see any diesel passageways in the head in the diagram and all the fuel pipework and gubbins seems to be external to the head. Something to do with an injector cooling thru-way I can't see? I don't want to blue £500 on a head gasket and skim if it isn't that. I'm a bit stumped.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Follow-up

New head gasket seems (fingers-crossed) to have helped. Engine mounts next to tackle judder on switch-off.
