Well it's finally been done - I've had my 1997 Riveria Sportrak LPG converted! It's cost me a grand but its well worth it - only 30p a litre!!! I decided to have the tank in the boot cuz it meant that I could have a 60 litre tank so I could go a while without refilling. I'll let you know how I get on and take some piccies!

Your Sportrak has a boot??? When did they get one of them!
You really managed to have one fitted in that tiny area? It seems pretty full with a petrol can and a bottle of oil in mine.

Boot space
Yep it fitted in the boot nicely - theres not much room left though. Thankfully theres only me and my boyf in it so theres plenty of room and the seats fold down lovely - I'll send some piccies if you send me your email

Sorry been away for a bit - will take photos this weekend. Filled up with gas on saturday - 40 litres cost me 11 quid!!!
LPG v Petrol
Allowing for 20% expansion I guess you ran it quite low, but then you have a reserve tank don't you! When you have some idea of MPG could you let me know? I have been told that MPG is slightly lower on gas due to the lower calorific value.
