Tyre question

Forum:

I have a 94 Independant Fourtrak and need a couple of new tyres. It currently has 30 x 9.50R15 BF Goodrich AT's on it at the moment, should I go for the same tyre or get something diffrent? I so go off road so want a AT tyre. Also anyone know the cheapest place to get tyres? I don't want to spend a lot.

Thanks.

If you don't want to spend a lot, your out of luck with the BF's. However they are extreamly hard wearing (much longer lived than a £50 remould), and probably the best all perpouse tyre on the market.
Personally I'd stick with the BF AT's.
Unless you think your going off road is likely to turn into more seriouse mud plugging. In which case I'd say put a pair of BF MT's on the back. Bare in mind though that these tyres are a softer compound, and will wear quicker than the AT's, whilst costing as much to by.

Well, I got four tyres for £59 + VAT and £10 delivery. Got two put on by a mate for the price of a beer. All in all a good deal I think.
