Rear Axle Oil Seal

Can anyone please help me........I'm missing pages 5 to 10 for the 'Rear axle' from my service manual for my 2.8TD Fourtrak.

I'm in the process of replacing the rear bearing and oil seal and could do with a copy.

If anyone has them please can they E-mail them to me....:)

Rear Oil Seal

Thanks for the link, but I'm also replacing the oil seal in the half shaft....the bearing/axle housing seal is the easy bit. Do you, or anyone have the pages from the service manual?

So you mean your replacing th

So you mean your replacing the oil seal thats just within the rear axle housing, that runs on the bearing retainer? If so, it just prises out, and fit the new one using a very large socket, or similar, to get it in place. The outer face sits flush with the outer end of the axle tube.

I do have a copy of the workshop manual, but its 3 foolscap volumes, not on CD, and its in Oz, not the UK, so a bit difficult to get to you.

I also need to replace the bigger seal in the half shaft...I do not know how to split the end from the half shaft....
