Ok folks whats the next thing to try I have had a new main shaft nut fitted and the oil changed for the pukka stuff and it still cruches from 3rd to 2nd unless you are going really slow, all other gears fine (ish) any ideas?
Also should there have been any adjustments made anywhere before the new nut was put on because our man siad that the nut was tight but he would put the new one on anyway and torque it up but I think thats all he did, he didnt adjust selectors or anything, should he have done or am I barking up that wrong tree again?

Try double declutching when you change gears.
